The racial makeup of the borough is 95.71% White, 1.48% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.50% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.14% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. 3.09% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
