Moldejazz

Moldejazz is an international jazz festival held annually in Molde since 1961. One of the biggest, most important, and oldest jazz festivals in Europe. 36,000 tickets was sold for events during the 2002 festival. Between 80,000 and 100,000 visitors are estimated to the city during the one-week long event.

Musical artists, including Eric Clapton, James Brown, Bob Dylan, Santana, Jeff Healey[?], Miles Davis, Paul Simon, and Joe Cocker, have performed at the jazz festival.
