Molde stadium

Molde stadium (Molde stadion) is a soccer stadium built at Reknes in Molde, Norway in 1997 and 1998. It was inaugurated in April 1998 when Molde F.K. beat Lillestrøm S.K. 4-0.

The building was designed by architect Kjell Kosberg[?] and a nominated finalist for the FIABCI - Prix D' Excellence[?] in 1999 and awarded the Norwegian architecture prize, the City prize the same year. Molde stadium was built largely by fundings from the clubs wealthy owner Kjell Inge Røkke and is nicknamed Røkkeløkka (something like the Røkke field) after him.
