Mohammed Nour al-Din Saffi

Mohammed Nour al-Din Saffi is an employee of Air New Zealand and the stepson of Saddam Hussein.

The son of a former head of Iraq's airline, Saffi left Iraq after the Gulf War. In April 2002 he was briefly detained by United States authorities after attending flight training refresher courses in the US while on a tourist visa. Saffi was released when it became apparent that he posed no threat to anyone and was merely undergoing training in the course of his employment.
