Millennium Pride Festival

The Washington, DC Millennium Pride Festival was that area's year 2000 gay pride celebration. It was a huge event that saw hundreds of thousands flock to the US capital.

It featured performences by artists like Jimmy Sommerville, Easter Bradford and Practically Einstein. The event fell into controversy when it was revealed that it had been mismanaged financially.
