A military ordinariate, in the Catholic church, is an organization headed by a bishop responsible for the pastoral care of Catholics serving in a country's armed services.

In the US, the military ordinariate is the Archdiocese for the Military Services. In Australia, it is the Australian Catholic Defence Diocese[?] (also called the Catholic Miltiary Ordinariate for Australia; website http://www.military.catholic.org.au/).
