Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 102.5 km² (39.6 mi²). 101.5 km² (39.2 mi²) of it is land and 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.96% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 793 people, 269 households, and 225 families residing in the township. The population density is 7.8/km² (20.2/mi²). There are 279 housing units at an average density of 2.7/km² (7.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 99.37% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.25% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.25% from other races, and 0.13% from two or more races. 0.50% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
