Merksplas

Merksplas is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Merksplas proper. On January 1st, 2000 Merksplas had a total population of 8,055 (4,143 males and 3,912 females). The total area is 44.56 km² which gives a population density of 180.77 inhabitants per km².
