Meerssen (population: 20,183) is a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands, in the province of Limburg. The municipality covers an area of 27.47 km².

The municipality of Meerssen consists the following towns, villages and townships: Bunde[?], Geulle[?], Meerssen/Rothen[?], Ulestraten[?].
