Max Petitpierre

Max Petitpierre (February 26, 1899 - March 25, 1994) was a Swiss politician.

He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 14, 1944 and handed over office on June 30, 1961. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party. During his office time he held the Political Department[?].

He was president of Switzerland three times in 1950, 1955 and 1960.
