Maurice Yameogo

Maurice Yameogo (Koudougou, Burkina Faso, 1921 � Ouagadougou, 1993) was aBurkinab� Politician and became the first president of Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso).

He studied in the Small Seminar of Pabr� to became a catholic priest, but lost his sacerdotal vocation when he met F�licit� Zagr� who later became his wife.
