Martti Miettunen

Martti Miettunen (1908 - January 19, 2002) was a politician in Finland. He was prime minister in 1961-62 and from 1975 to 1977.

He was a lawmaker in the Agrarian Party from 1945 to 1958, and was also governor of Lapland province from 1958 to 1973.

He died at the age of 94 in Kauniala's soldier hospital near Helsinki.

Miettunen sat as minister for the fourth longest to 4 300 days. He was known also as Urho Kekkonen credit man.
