Martie Erwin, also known as Martie Seidel and Martie Maguire, (born October 12, 1969) is a country music songwriter, recording artist and musician, born and residing in Dallas, Texas. She is married to Irishman Gareth Maguire. For more details see [1] (http://www.dixiechicksfans.com/martie-gareth)

Martie is a founding member of The Dixie Chicks with her sister Emily Erwin. The group has been performing since 1989.

Martie plays fiddle and mandolin in the group.
