Mark Eyskens

Mark Eyskens (born April 29, 1933) is a Belgian economist and politician. He was born in Louvain and is the son of viscount Gaston Eyskens. He was a minister several times and became prime minister on April 6, 1981. His government quickly collapsed on December 17, due to disagreements on the financing of the Walloon steel industry. He remained a member of parliament until 2003.
