Marcos Pérez Jiménez was a Venezuelan politician. He was born on April 25, 1914 in Michelena[?].

He studied military. In 1945, he participated in a coup and became Minister of Defence. He was president of Venezuela from 1952 till 1958.

He died on September 20, 2001 in Madrid, Spain
