Marc Riboud

Marc Riboud is a French photographer born 1923 in Lyon. He was in the French Resistance movement from 1943-5. He studied at the Ecole Centrale in Lyon (1945-48). He gave up a promising career as an engineer to become a freelance photographer. Riboud Was the only photojournalist allowed to enter North Vietnam and cover the Vietnam war from the North. President of Magnum[?] from 1975 to 1976.
