The Mannerheim Cross (Mannerheim-risti) is a Finnish military decoration introduced after the Winter War and named after the marshal Carl Gustaf Mannerheim.

It can be awarded to a Finnish soldier "regardless of military rank in times of war for special bravery, for important results in the battles and for meritorious command of war operations."

The Mannerheim Cross, First Class was awarded to marshal Carl Gustaf Mannerheim and general Axel Heinrichs. The Mannerheim Cross, Second Class was awarded to 191 persons. Four persons have been awarded it twice.
