404 Not Found or 500 Internal Server Error

You may be looking for the Main Page.

You have reached this page, Main Path, because you have tried to access 1) a non-existent page outside of the /wiki/ article namespace or 2) an article within /wiki/ with an illegal title the software cannot process.

You may have attempted to access an article by an address of the form /<title>.

If you are looking for an article with the name <something>, you should instead go to the address /wiki/<title>.

If you are attempting to create a new article with the same <something>, you should also go to the address /wiki/<title>, and then click on Edit this page.

Alternatively, you may search for an article. See the search box at the top right of the Main Page or this page.

Article titles must be in ISO-8859-1/ISO Latin-1. Extended Unicode characters are not allowed within article titles, but can be used within articles by means of HTML entities.

Another possibility is that you went to the URL of an image (or other uploaded file) that does not exist. You might wish to check to see if the image was converted to another format by fiddling with the extension at the end of the URL (*.gif -> *.png etc.). See Wikipedia:Image use policy for a list of preferred formats that a file is likely to have been converted to. (Currently this is PNG for drawings, JPEG for photographs, GIF for animations, and Ogg Vorbis for sounds, but if things change, then the official policy page is likely to be more up to date than this page.)
