Mae Whitman

Mae started out going to an audition for a voice over in a commercial about Tyson Chickens[?]. She got the job, beating out her own mother for it. This caused a lot of surprise to her mother Pat Musick[?] who is an accomplished actress herself, but it was satisfying to her finding out young Mae had gotten some of the skills she did.

At the age of four, Mae made her film debut, acting alongside Meg Ryan in When a Man Loves a Woman[?]. She played Ryan's daughter in the movie.

She has also appeared on Independence Day as the President's daughter, (alongside Will Smith) and in Hope Floats[?], with Sandra Bullock.
