The Macintosh SE/30 is the fastest and most expandable of all the compact Macintosh series.
In the same case as the Macintosh SE[?], the SE/30 is differentiated by its 16 MHz Motorola 68030 processor, making it considerably faster than the SE, and in fact as fast as a Macintosh IIx[?]. Other features include the ability to expand up to 128 MB of RAM, and a 40 MB or 80 MB hard drive as standard.
This machine was superseded in 1991 by the Macintosh Classic II[?], a machine which was only 60% as fast as the SE/30, and lacked an internal expansion slot.
