Maaseik

Maaseik is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. On January 1st, 2002 Maaseik had a total population of 23,193 (11,651 males and 11,542 females). The total area is 77.06 km² which gives a population density of 300.97 inhabitants per km².

Birthplace of Hubert van Eyck.
