Maàt

In Egyptian mythology, Maàt was the goddess of truth and justice.

In the underworld, Maàt's headband supplied the Feather of Truth, the ostrich feather which the souls of the deceased were weighed against in the Hall of Two Truths in Duat. A soul which weighed more than the feather (because sin has weight) was devoured by Ammit and Babi. A good soul, that weighed less, was sent to Aaru.
