Loyd Jowers

A sensationalist figure in the history of the assassination of Martin Luther King. Jowers, owner of a restaurant ("Jim's Grill") in close proximity to the murder, claimed to have been involved in a convoluted conspiracy involving mafia and the government to kill King. Most sources agree that Jowers' main motive for these claims was to gain "Hollywood rights" to sell his story and make money.
