Longville is a city located in Cass County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 180.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 km² (0.6 mi²). 1.6 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.23% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 180 people, 103 households, and 52 families residing in the city. The population density is 115.8/km² (301.7/mi²). There are 150 housing units at an average density of 96.5/km² (251.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 96.11% White, 0.00% African American, 3.33% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.56% from two or more races. 0.56% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 103 households out of which 9.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.7% are married couples living together, 6.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 49.5% are non-families. 48.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 35.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.75 and the average family size is 2.46.

In the city the population is spread out with 11.7% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 11.7% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 48.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 64 years. For every 100 females there are 85.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 76.7 males.

The median income for a household in the city is $26,818, and the median income for a family is $39,583. Males have a median income of $20,625 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the city is $26,524. 5.3% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 0.0% are under the age of 18 and 6.2% are 65 or older.
