Lonely Mountain

The Lonely Mountain was the ancestral home of the King under the Mountain in The Hobbit. It was captured from Thror[?] by Smaug the dragon, but later reclaimed by Dain[?] after the Battle of Five Armies.

Bilbo and Thorin's company travelled to the Lonely Mountain to regain the treasure Smaug had stolen.

The mountain's Sindarin name, which has the same meaning, is Erebor.
