Lithotriptor

A lithotriptor is a medical device used in the treatment of kidney stones and gallstones[?]. It attempts to break up the stone without harming body tissues by using focused high-intensity inaudible sound waves. Since this avoids invasive surgery, recovery is generally rapid.
