List of regions in Japan

Japan is divided into eight regions:

Chubu region
- Tokai region
- Hokuriku region[?]
Chugoku region
Hokkaido region
Kanto region
Kinki region
Kyushu region
Shikoku region
Tohoku region

Each contains a number of prefectures.
