Limburg an der Lahn

Limburg an der Lahn (Limburg on the Lahn[?] river) is a small German town, the capital of the district Limburg-Weilburg in the west of Hesse. Population 35,500, geographical position 50° 23' North 8° 4' East. The city was first mentioned in 910.

The city is located at the Lahn[?] river, between the mountains of the Westerwald and the Taunus.
