Light water

In speaking of nuclear reactors, light water is ordinary water. Most nuclear reactors use heavy water. 'Light water' reactors are simpler and cheaper than normal reactors, and although they have the same power-generating capabilities, they are not capable of producing weapons-grade plutonium.
