Light gun

A light gun is a pointing device for computers that is similar to the light pen, whose design was directly influenced by the light gun. These types of computer input devices are rarely used anymore due to the popularity of the mouse and changes in monitor display technology. The first light gun was used on the MIT Whirlwind computer.
