Lif and Lifthrasir

In Norse mythology, Lif ("life") and Lifthrasir ("eager for life") will be the only two to survive Ragnarok, the end of the world. They will live by hiding in Hodmimir's Forest, which is the only place that the fire giant's sword can not destroy. They will repopulate the world.
