Lier

Lier is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the city of Lier proper and the town of Koningshooikt[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Lier had a total population of 32,191 (15,671 males and 16,520 females). The total area is 49.89 km² which gives a population density of 645.24 inhabitants per km².
