Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 10,011 people, 3,095 households, and 2,237 families residing in the city. The population density is 1,314.7/km² (3,401.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 64.20% White, 0.44% African American, 1.17% Native American, 1.10% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 30.78% from other races, and 2.30% from two or more races. 51.15% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
