Let's All Go To the Lobby

Let's All Go To the Lobby (also called The Clock) is a 1957 musical animated short feature. In fact, it was an advertisement, showing singing and dancing hot dogs, popcorn boxes, candy bars, etc., which was used during intermissions to entice theater patrons to visit the snack bar[?]. The refreshments sang their refrain, "Let's all go to the lobby to get ourselves a treat", while a clock marked time until the next feature started.

It was produced by the Filmack Corporation and used in thousands of theaters. In 2000 the United States Library of Congress deemed the short "culturally significant" and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry.

A similar film directed drive-in theater[?] patrons to the snack bar. Such shorts are still used for this purpose.
