Leeuwarden

Leeuwarden (Ljouwert in Frisian) is a town and the capital of the Friesland province (Netherlands).

The municipality also comprises the following towns, villages and townships: Goutum, Hempens, Lekkum, Miedum, Snakkerburen, Swichum, Teerns, Wirdum, Wytgaard.
