Lee Township, Aitkin County, Minnesota

Lee Township is a township located in Aitkin County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 54.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.4 km² (35.7 mi²). 89.3 km² (34.5 mi²) of it is land and 3.1 km² (1.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.36% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 54 people, 22 households, and 17 families residing in the township. The population density is 0.6/km² (1.6/mi²). There are 45 housing units at an average density of 0.5/km² (1.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.15% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.85% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 22 households out of which 31.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.2% are married couples living together, 9.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.7% are non-families. 22.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.45 and the average family size is 2.76.
