Lebbeke is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Denderbelle[?], Lebbeke proper and Wieze[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Lebbeke had a total population of 17,234 (8,529 males and 8,705 females). The total area is 27.61 km² which gives a population density of 624.19 inhabitants per km².
