Leander Lake is an unorganized territory located in St. Louis County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the unorganized territory had a total population of 119.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the unorganized territory has a total area of 65.5 km² (25.3 mi²). 61.9 km² (23.9 mi²) of it is land and 3.6 km² (1.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 5.49% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 119 people, 51 households, and 39 families residing in the unorganized territory. The population density is 1.9/km² (5.0/mi²). There are 176 housing units at an average density of 2.8/km² (7.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the unorganized territory is 98.32% White, 0.00% African American, 0.84% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.84% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 51 households out of which 17.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.6% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.6% are non-families. 17.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 2.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.33 and the average family size is 2.65.
