Laodamia

In Greek mythology, Laodamia referred to two different women.

  1. The mother of Sarpedon by Zeus, Laodamia was a daughter of Bellerophon.
  2. Wife of Protesilaus and daughter of Acastus and Astydameia. When her husband died during the Trojan War, she killed herself in grief.
