Lancaster County Prison

The Lancaster County Prison is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The prison was originally built in 1737. It was later rebuilt on a new site in 1849. Fulton Hall, of the Fulton Opera House, was built on the exercise yard of the old prison. The prison was designed to look like a castle in Lancashire. It is still in active use.
