Lake Roxen

Roxen is a medium-sized lake in south central Sweden, east of lake Vättern, part of the waterpath Motala ström and Göta Kanal. South of lake Roxen is the city Linköping.

Roxen, especially the eastern parts, is very good for bird watching. There are nature preserves at Svartåmynningen (http://www.e.lst.se/miljo/skydd/naturreservat/sidor/064_sida1 (http://www.e.lst.se/miljo/skydd/naturreservat/sidor/064_sida1)) and Kungsbro (http://www.e.lst.se/miljo/skydd/naturreservat/sidor/028_sida1 (http://www.e.lst.se/miljo/skydd/naturreservat/sidor/028_sida1)).

See also the Roxen webserver.
