Lake Minchumina is a town located in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 32.

Geography Lake Minchumina is located at 63°53'38" North, 152°18'7" West (63.893902, -152.302012)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 632.2 km² (244.1 mi²). 560.5 km² (216.4 mi²) of it is land and 71.7 km² (27.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 11.34% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 32 people, 16 households, and 9 families residing in the town. The population density is 0.1/km² (0.1/mi²). There are 41 housing units at an average density of 0.1/km² (0.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 84.38% White, 0.00% African American, 3.12% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 12.50% from two or more races. 6.25% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 16 households out of which 25.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% are married couples living together, 6.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 43.8% are non-families. 37.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.00 and the average family size is 2.67.
