Lake Kickapoo

Artificial lake in Archer County, Texas. Created in 1947. It has a surface area of 6,200 acres. Named after the Kickapoo tribe native to the area.

One of the nine NAVSPASUR sites is located at Lake Kickapoo (N 33 32.764 W 98 45.763). It is the master transmitter and the most powerful continuous wave (CW) station in the world, at 768kW radiated power.
