Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 847 people, 399 households, and 314 families residing in the town. The population density is 118.1/km² (305.4/mi²). There are 1,190 housing units at an average density of 165.9/km² (429.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 96.58% White, 0.12% African American, 1.53% Native American, 0.71% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.12% from other races, and 0.94% from two or more races. 1.06% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
