Kuriru

Kuriru retto is the Japanese name of the Kuril islands and originates from the autonym of the aboriginal Ainu: "kur=man". They extend from Hokkaido to Kamchatka and are fogbound, volcanic but rich in seafood. They comprise five gun administered from Nemuro[?] cho: Kunashiri, Etorofu, Uruppu, Rakkoshima and Choka.
