Kurdistan Workers' Party

Group in Turkey which seeks to create a free and separate Kurdistan. Has often used violence to attain its goals and has been ruthlessly sought out by the Turkish police/army. The Turks oppose any formation of Kurdistan which historically held parts of Turkey, Iraq and Iran.
