The racial makeup of the town is 79.74% White, 19.05% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.32% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.08% from other races, and 0.72% from two or more races. 0.56% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
