Keith Jarrett

Keith Jarrett (born May 8, 1945) is considered among the most important living jazz piano players. He has produces a series of solo albums of live concerts in Paris, La Scala Milan, Vienna, Tokyo and other places. He has also worked in groups with Jan Garbarek[?], Gary Peacock[?], Jack DeJohnette[?] and Miles Davis.

He also plays classical piano, harpsichord, clavichord and organ. He has recorded a number of well-received classical albums, including works by Bach and Shostakovich.

Jarrett has a reputation for eccentric perfectionism; he is known to make frequent emotive vocalizations while playing. Jarrett's manager, Steven Cloud, is one of the more colorful figures in music production.
