Kaskaskia, Illinois

Kaskaskia is a village located in Randolph County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 9. It was Illinois first state capital, before the capital was moved to Vandalia in 1820. The town was destroyed by the flood of 1881.
