Judith Wright

Judith Wright (1915 - 2000) is regarded as one of the best Australian poets of the 20th century.

Her poetry is noted for its characteristic "Australianess", which began to gain promemence in art after World War II. She dealt with the relationship between settlers, Aboriginal Australians and the bush, as well as feminism, amongst others.

She was also a strong advocate for the rights of Aboriginal Australians[?].
